Tekbox TBPS01 / Near-field probe set for measuring magnetic and electric fields

Near-field probes for measuring magnetic and electric fields—now in a wooden box!The near-field probes for measuring magnetic fields (H20, H10, and H5) and electric fields (E5) are used to test radiated emissions as part of EMC pre-compliance testing. They are designed to locate potential sources of interference caused by components within electronic assemblies. The probes also function as broadband antennas for measuring radiated emissions from components, trace patterns, enclosure openings or gaps, and any other parts that could emit RF radiation. The probes are typically connected to a spectrum analyzer. Move the probe across the surface of an assembled printed circuit board or enclosure to quickly identify areas emitting electromagnetic radiation. By switching to smaller probe sizes, the source of the radiation can be gradually narrowed down. Another application is testing of RF-S
