The Shelly Wave Dimmer module is a cutting-edge smart lighting controller designed for indoor use with Z-Wave 800 Series technology. It supports both Z-Wave Plus and Z-Wave Long Range (ZWLR), offering an extended wireless range of up to 40 meters indoors with Z-Wave Plus and up to 80 meters indoors or 1 km outdoors with ZWLR, ensuring a stable and reliable connection even in large homes or buildings.

This device operates on a sub-GHz frequency, minimizing interference with Wi-Fi networks and providing bulletproof security with Security 2 (AES128 encryption). It does not require a neutral wire, making it ideal for retrofitting older installations. The dimmer supports trailing edge dimming technology and can handle loads up to 200 W for halogen, incandescent, and transformers, and up to 150 W for LEDs.

Additional features include built-in power consumption metering, overheat, overload, and overvoltage protection, and an internal temperature sensor for enhanced safety. The module supports SmartStart for easy network integration and OTA firmware updates via a compatible Z-Wave gateway. It also includes two switch inputs for physical control and an RGB LED indicator for status and alerts.
