SoundPEATS Air5 Pro+

In-ear headphones designed for high-fidelity audio reproduction. Unlike the standard Air5 model (semi-open design), this "Pro+" version uses an in-ear format with silicone ear cushions to maximise passive isolation. The acoustic architecture is based on a dual-driver system: a 10 mm dynamic driver with bio-diaphragm for low and mid frequencies, and an xMEMS silicon micro-speaker for high frequencies.

Dual drivers

The solid-state xMEMS driver has no traditional voice coil, allowing near-instantaneous transient response and eliminating mechanical distortion. To manage this component, an Aptos Class-H XAA-2000 amplifier is integrated, specific hardware that extends the dynamic range and maintains signal cleanliness.

Hi-Res sound

At the heart of the device is the Qualcomm QCC3091 chipset, which supports the Snapdragon Sound platform and is Hi-Res Audio Wireless certified. It supports a wide variety of high-resolution codecs: aptX Lossless (bit-for-bit CD quality), aptX Adaptive (up to 96kHz/24bit), LDAC and LC3 (under the LE Audio standard). By factory default, LDAC and LC3 protocols are disabled for battery optimisation; their activation requires the use of the official PeatsAudio application.

ANC

Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is hybrid and adaptive, achieving a reduction depth of up to 55dB with a bandwidth of 4000Hz. For calls, it has a 6-microphone system (3 per earpiece) with ENC technology to filter out ambient noise and prioritise speech.

Connectivity

It uses Bluetooth 5.4 for a stable signal and supports multipoint connection, allowing pairing with two devices simultaneously. For gaming and video, it includes a 60ms low latency mode.

Battery life offers up to 6 hours of continuous use with ANC off. When noise cancellation or high-resolution codecs (Lossless/LDAC) are enabled, playback time is between 4 and 4.5 hours. The 520 mAh case brings the total battery life up to 30 hours. Charging is via USB-C (2 hours for a full charge) and it features fast charging: 10 minutes of connection provides 2 hours of audio. This model does not include wireless charging or proximity sensor for auto pause.
