The Tascam US-4X4HR is an advanced USB audio interface designed for professional recording and live performance. It features four analog microphone/line inputs on individual XLR and balanced TRS connectors, each equipped with high-quality Ultra-HDDA microphone preamps that achieve an ultra-low equivalent input noise of -128 dBu. The interface supports switchable 48V phantom power on XLR inputs, making it suitable for condenser microphones.

Inputs 1 and 2 TRS jacks can be switched to instrument level, allowing direct recording of guitars or basses with third-party plug-in effects. The device offers zero-latency direct monitoring, which can be set to mono or stereo for each input pair, ensuring real-time monitoring without delay.
