The TP-Link Omada TL-SG2218 is a managed L2/L2+ network switch designed for businesses that need reliable wired connectivity and advanced traffic control. It provides 16 Gigabit RJ-45 Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mbit/s) plus 2 SFP slots, giving you a total of 18 ports for connecting workstations, access points, servers and other network devices. With a 36 Gbit/s switching capacity and a 26.8 Mpps forwarding rate, it handles high-volume traffic smoothly.

Management is flexible: you can configure the switch through its web interface, manage it from the cloud, or use SNMPv1/v2c/v3 and SNTP. The 8000-entry MAC address table and 4.1 MB packet buffer help maintain stable performance, while features like VLAN, QoS, ACL, IGMP snooping, DHCP (client, relay, server, snooping, DHCPv6 client and snooping), static routing and loop protection give you fine-grained control over your network.

Built for rack environments, the TL-SG2218 has a 1U form factor and includes an AC power supply. It supports IEEE 802.3ab, 802.3i, 802.3u and 802.3z standards, jumbo frames up to 9000 bytes, and a wide range of virtual LAN functions including port-based, private, protocol-based, tagged and voice VLANs, with support for up to 4000 VLANs.
