eQ-3 Homematic IP-Pro Humidity Sensor

The Homematic IP-Pro Humidity Sensor (HmIP-SWO-PR, code 4047976518210) is a professional multi-function outdoor weather sensor that measures temperature (-20 to +55°C), relative humidity (1-99%), wind speed (0-200 km/h), wind direction (5° accuracy), relative brightness (0-100,000 lux), rain onset and precipitation amount (0-966 mm), as well as sunshine duration. Its rugged construction includes a 1.58 m stainless steel pole for ground or pole mounting, long battery life (2 years typical with 3 AA LR6 1.5V batteries) and secure 868 MHz wireless communication (868.0-868.6 MHz, 869.4-869.65 MHz) with 400 m range in open field.

Provides accurate real-time weather data via Homematic IP app to trigger smart automations, such as retracting awnings in high wind, closing blinds in strong sun or ventilating based on indoor/outdoor humidity. Compatible with Access Point or Home Control Unit, it integrates scenes with other Homematic IP devices (anemometers, rain sensors) for automatic outdoor protection and energy optimisation. Compact dimensions (35 x 53 x 15 cm without mast, 1417 g with batteries) allow flexible wireless mounting in gardens, on terraces or facades.

Operates in adverse conditions with vandal protection and sends geolocated push alerts, displaying current/maximum values on app dashboard. Ideal for controlling heating, cooling or humidifiers by reacting to the outdoor climate through customised rules, improving comfort and efficiency in smart homes.
