The Equip 255422 is a 25-metre multimode duplex fibre optic patch cable built for OM3 networks. It terminates in two LC male connectors, one at each end, and uses a 50 µm core with a 125 µm cladding, the standard multimode fibre structure for short-to-medium reach 10 Gbit/s links.

Full duplex operation means the cable carries traffic in both directions at once, which suits switch-to-switch, server-to-switch and storage connections in data centres and structured cabling. The LSZH (halogen-free) jacket is a sensible choice where smoke and halogen emissions in a fire are a concern, and the ceramic connector ferrules support reliable, repeatable mating.

The cable is turquoise, the conventional colour coding for OM3 multimode fibre, making it easy to identify in dense patch panels. It has a 2 mm cable diameter, weighs 185 g and is RoHS compliant.
