The Raspberry Pi Camera Module Noir V2 is the official camera accessory for all Raspberry Pi models. It features an 8-megapixel Sony IMX219 sensor capable of capturing 3280x2464 pixel still images and supporting 1080p video at 30fps. The Noir variant omits the infrared filter, making it ideal for low-light and night vision applications when used with an IR light source.

This camera module connects via the CSI interface on the Raspberry Pi board, providing high-speed data transfer. It includes a 15cm ribbon cable and is compatible with all Raspberry Pi models that have a CSI connector. The fixed focus lens is optimized for distances from 1 meter to infinity, and the module measures just 25mm x 24mm x 9mm, making it compact for embedded projects.
