Insulation, fabric and protection

• 100% down fill (typically 550-600 cuins, depending on version), with high insulating power to keep the body warm in cold weather, relatively light weight for its class.

• Lightweight 100% nylon outer fabric (approx. 30-45 g/m²) with durable water repellent finish (DWR), which repels splashes and light rain, delaying down soaking.

• Designed for wet winters and cool autumns, with a balance of warmth, weight and wind resistance.

Cut, length and size L

• Regular / standard cut, with a slightly longer silhouette than the classic Hyalite jacket, reaching approximately to the upper or mid-thigh, to offer greater protection at the trunk.

• In size L the parka adapts to wider chest, waist and shoulder contours, maintaining mobility even when worn over a base layer or thin fleece.

• Designed for urban use (walking, commuting, travelling) as well as for light winter hiking or mountain trekking.

Hood, zips and pockets

• Fixed integrated hood with soft trim, designed to keep head and ears well covered from the cold without obstructing vision too much.

• Oversized VISLON® type centre zip with robust closure, easy to use even with cold hands or thin gloves.

• Includes zipped side pockets for hands or small items, plus an inner chest pocket, useful for phone, cards or documents for safe keeping.

Technical details and comfort

• Elasticated inner cuffs help retain warmth at the wrists, reducing cold air ingress without over-tightening.

• Bottom hem with partial elasticated trim or simple adjustment at the back, which helps to keep warmth close to the body without losing freedom of movement.

• Seams and finishes designed to retain down and withstand daily use, with a technical-urban approach (down jacket, not sleepwear).

Performance in weather and use

• The down and lightweight outer shell make the parka very effective in cold and moderate climates, ideal for autumn and winter, with good performance even if the air becomes slightly damp.

• It works as a warm top layer in the city or as a down layer for mild mountain use, combining well with a waterproof jacket if conditions become more severe.
