It offers 5K HDR video quality stabilised by HyperSmooth 6.0 and captures images at 27MP and features slow motion, night effects and 4K wide angle. It supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity; its design is rugged, waterproof up to 10m and includes a 1720mAh battery.

Quality photos and videos

Shoot video in a range of 5.3K60, 4K120 and 2.7K240 quality resolutions. The HyperSmooth 6.0 system stabilises the sudden movements that occur during the recording of dynamic shots, as well as maintaining alignment with the horizon when the camera rotates.

It takes 27MP photos, has 24.7MP stills and records 4x slow motion in 4K resolution (120 frames per second). It features digital lenses for wide-angle, offering a 177? field of view and horizontal or vertical shooting (16:9/8:7).

Highlights include special effects such as night effects, and tools such as HindSight to capture shots even if the shutter button is pressed late. It allows you to schedule shots up to 24 hours in advance and take automatic photos at fixed intervals.

Design and performance

The camera has the following dimensions: 51mm high and 72mm wide, with a weight of 154g (including battery). It has a dual LCD screen, the front screen for taking selfie photos and the rear 2.27" touch screen.

It has a hydrophobic lens cover and is waterproof up to 10 metres. Its 1720mAh battery offers 1.5 hours of recording performance in 5.3K quality, even in extreme temperatures.

Connectivity

Compatible with Bluetooth audio devices (headphones and microphones) for wireless audio recording and voice control. Multiple Hero 12s can be synced from the Quik app via timecode.
