EOS R8 24.2-megapixel Black Digital Camera
The Canon EOS R8 is a mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera (MILC) built around a 24.2-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor measuring 35.9 x 23.9 mm with a native 3:2 aspect ratio. It captures still images at up to 6000 x 4000 pixels and records 4K Ultra HD video at 3840 x 2160 pixels, making it a versatile body for both photography and video work.
Exposure control covers an ISO range from 50 to 204800, shutter speeds from 30 s up to 1/16000 s, and exposure compensation of ±3 EV in 1/2 or 1/3 EV steps. Metering options include evaluative (multi-pattern), centre-weighted and spot, with 384 metering zones. The camera offers TTL focusing with automatic and manual settings, continuous AF, One Shot AF and servo AF, plus subject detection for people, animals, vehicles and more.
The body weighs 414 g and is finished in black. It includes a touchscreen, an electronic viewfinder, a built-in microphone and speakers, and connectivity via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type-C and HDMI. The EOS Integrated Cleaning System uses ultrasonic vibration to help keep the sensor clean.
