The DMX model  is a cable with a male XLR connector on one end and a female XLR connector on the other. At first glance, you might think it's a standard XLR cable, but nothing could be further from the truth. The DMX cable features higher impedance and an additional braided foil that protects against external electromagnetic fields—in other words, it protects against signal interference.

We use these cables in digital network communications, e.g. in lighting systems, stage effects control systems, etc.
