ACT USB-C to Serial Adapter

The ACT AC6002 makes it easy to connect serial devices to a modern computer. It is a USB-C to serial adapter cable that links a USB Type-C port to a 9-pin DB-9 serial (RS232) device, so you can keep using legacy serial equipment with today's USB-C laptops and desktops.

The cable measures 1.5 metres and uses straight male connectors on both ends: USB-C male on one side and 9 Sub-D (DB-9) male on the other. Inside, a Prolific PL2303 integrated circuit handles the serial communication, and the adapter complies with USB 2.0 specifications and the RS232 serial interface. Power is supplied over USB, so no separate power adapter is needed.

The black PVC jacket and 28 AWG cable construction keep the adapter flexible for everyday use, and the bandwidth is rated at 250 Kbit/s. Each unit is supplied in a box, one piece per package.
