USB-A smart card ID reader, suitable for Belgian ID cards

The ACT AC6015 is a USB-A smart card reader designed to read electronic ID cards and smart cards quickly and securely, including Belgian eID cards. Plug it into a computer and it is ready to use, making it a practical tool for e-commerce, e-business, digital signatures, authentication and access protection.

The reader connects through a USB 2.0 interface with a transmission speed of up to 480 Mbps and is bus-powered, so no additional power adapter or extra cable is required. A 1 m USB cable gives you comfortable reach to your computer, and LED indicators for activity and power show the reader's status at a glance.

It supports common smart cards in the ID-1 card format, including personal identification cards, and is compliant with PC/SC 1.0/2.0, EMV 4.1 and WHQL standards, with support for the ISO 7816, T=0 and T=1 protocols. The reader is CAC approved and works with Windows and macOS.
