The ACT AK4310 is a 10-metre USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 Active Optical Cable (AOC) designed to carry high-speed data and video over longer distances than a conventional copper cable. Its hybrid fibre and copper conductor combines optical transmission with copper for power, while the round PVC jacket and 6.5 mm cable diameter keep the run flexible and easy to route.

Both ends use straight male USB-C connectors with connector shielding, and the cable supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 (3.1 Gen 2) with a maximum transfer rate of 10 Gbit/s. It can drive a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels at up to 60 Hz, and it handles up to 20 V input voltage with a maximum input and output current of 3 A.

Finished in black and grey and supplied as 1 piece per package, the AK4310 is a practical active optical link for connecting USB-C devices across a room, desk or installation where 10 metres of reach is required.
