The STARTECH R2CCR-30C-USB-CABLE is a rugged 30 cm USB-C cable designed to connect and charge USB-C devices with a right-angle connector that sits flush against the device. The angled USB-C end is ideal for tight spaces, reducing strain on both the port and the connector compared to straight cables.
Built for daily use, the cable features aramid fibre reinforcement that protects it against the stress of frequent bending, so it flexes without over-stretching or damaging the core components. Extra-long flexible strain reliefs have been tested to withstand more than 5,000 bend cycles at a 180° angle, and the cable is rated for more than 10,000 insertions. The TPE jacket resists damage from heavy use.
Electrically, it supports USB 2.0 specifications with data transfer rates up to 480 Mbit/s and delivers up to 3 A for fast charging of USB-C enabled devices, including up to 60 W Power Delivery from a compatible USB port or charger. It connects a USB-C male connector to a USB-A male connector and is plug-and-play ready. Note that as a USB 2.0 cable it does not support video.
