Installation is very simple: just connect the Gigaset DESK 200 to the telephone socket (public network, PBX, or gateway) and the phone is ready to use. Visual and audible call signaling is provided. The melody and volume can be easily adjusted with three selectable melodies, each with three volume levels. Additionally, the LED call indicator on the handset ensures you won't miss a call even in noisy environments. If preferred, the ringtone can be muted so incoming calls are signaled visually only.
Quick connection: You can store up to ten phone numbers as speed dials, allowing you to quickly contact frequently called people. The speed dial numbers are noted on the included paper insert for easy reference. The convenient redial function lets you immediately call back the last number with a single button press.
If you need to speak to someone in the room without the person on the other end hearing, you can keep the call on the line and press the "mute" button, so you cannot be heard on the phone.
