Converts wired infotainment systems to wireless connections. Incorporates the SmartBox AI Chip processor, designed specifically for automotive applications, which handles dual protocols for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility in a single device. This architecture eliminates the need to switch between different adapters depending on the smartphone used.

Wireless connectivity

Data transmission employs a hybrid system: initial pairing is via Bluetooth 5.0, while the main data stream is automatically transferred to a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network. Operating on this frequency, which is less saturated than the 2.4 GHz band, reduces electromagnetic interference in urban environments and stabilises the transfer rate, minimising audio delay and tactile feedback.

Rugged design and power consumption

The chassis is made of reinforced ABS with an optimised design for passive heat dissipation. This prevents thermal throttling and GPS disconnects on long journeys. Its compact dimensions allow for unobtrusive installation in the centre console. Power consumption is 0.75W (5V), which prevents vehicle battery drain on USB ports that remain active after the engine is switched off.

Plug & Play system

Allows continued use of the steering wheel controls, rotary controls, the 60 FPS touch screen and the Siri and Google Assistant voice assistants. Connection to the adapter is via a native USB Type-C port, avoiding integrated cables that compromise durability.

Requirements and compatibility

It is essential that the vehicle has CarPlay or Android Auto with factory-installed cable. Terminal requirements are iOS 10 or higher for iPhone and Android 11 or higher with 5 GHz Wi-Fi for the rest.
