Zebra 10" ET5X Heavy Duty Frame

Zebra SG-ET5X-10RCSE4-01 is a 10" rugged frame with integrated I/O connector for Zebra ET5X 10.1" tablets (ET50/ET51/ET55/ET56), designed to dramatically increase the ruggedness and improve the reliability of the port connector.

Protection and ruggedness

• Zebra classifies it as the "ET5X 10 inch Rugged Frame with I/O Connector", a frame that wraps around the tablet to protect it from shocks, drops, dust and scratches, raising the drop specification to around 1.8-2m on concrete versus the standard 1m for the frameless ET5X.

• It is intended for demanding environments such as warehousing, logistics, industry, field or transport, where the tablet is exposed to frequent impacts, handling with gloves and hard surfaces.

Rugged I/O connector

• Integrates a rugged I/O connector at the base of the frame, which replaces or wraps around the tablet's standard connector, providing greater mechanical robustness and improved electrical reliability when using docks, charging, power or accessories that connect to that port.

• This design reduces the risk of tablet connector breakage from cable pulls or continued use by channelling mechanical stress into the frame rather than the device's casing.
