The Sequential Prophet-10 Desktop is a 10-voice polyphonic analog synthesizer that brings the legendary sound of the Prophet-5 rev3 to a compact desktop format. Each voice features two voltage-controlled oscillators (VCOs) with sawtooth, pulse, and triangle waveforms, plus a sub-oscillator for added depth. The classic Prophet-5 rev3 filter, based on the SSM 2040 chip, delivers warm, rich low-pass filtering with resonance. The 61-key semi-weighted keyboard offers velocity and aftertouch sensitivity for expressive playing.

Beyond its core sound engine, the Prophet-10 includes a powerful arpeggiator and a 64-step polyphonic sequencer, allowing for complex rhythmic patterns and evolving sequences. The desktop version retains all the connectivity of the keyboard model, including MIDI I/O, USB, and CV/gate outputs.
