The Aten CL3884NW is a 1U rack-mount LCD KVM console that integrates a keyboard, an 18.5" widescreen LED-backlit LCD monitor and a touchpad into a sliding dual-rail metal housing. Because the dual-rail design lets the LCD monitor and the keyboard/touchpad operate independently, you can keep the screen tilted back at rack level to monitor activity while the keyboard and touchpad modules slide back and hide away when not in use.

Built for control rooms, the console controls up to four computers and offers multiview display modes — Quad View, Picture in Picture (PiP), Picture by Picture (PbP) and Picture on Picture (PoP) — so operators can tailor which video sources are shown on screen. Cascading up to 2 levels extends connectivity to a maximum of 16 video sources, and the integrated Boundless Switching function lets users move control to another computer simply by moving the mouse cursor to the target screen. ATEN's patented Video DynaSync technology and EDID modes help deliver smooth power-on and high-quality display without monitor compatibility issues.

Video quality reaches 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz, and the panel itself offers 1920 x 1080 pixels, 350 cd/m² brightness, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles and a 20 ms response time. Connectivity includes 5x HDMI I/O ports, USB keyboard and mouse ports, three USB 2.0 Type-A ports, four USB 2.0 Type-B ports, one RJ-45 port, front and rear 3.5 mm audio jacks, and rear external KVM console ports (USB keyboard/mouse and HDMI monitor). The unit is RoHS compliant, Plug and Play ready and supports hot-plug.
